These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LACTIC application and related services (the “Service”), provided by Chocolate Labs Apps LLC (“Chocolate Labs Apps,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Not medical advice; no provider relationship
LACTIC is a software tool that helps you organize and view health and wellness information. The Service is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using the app does not, by itself, create a physician–patient or other provider relationship. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions about your health, and never disregard professional advice because of something you read or see in the app. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use the Service.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable use
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes others’ rights.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your own data), is owned by Chocolate Labs Apps and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the information you provide.
6. Third-party services
The Service may let you connect third-party products (for example, wearable devices). Your use of those products is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information will be accurate or complete.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chocolate Labs Apps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
